The Original Taste the Best Tour

Description:
Monday through Friday and most Saturdays, 10:00am-2:15pm: We begin in Florence's San Lorenzo neighborhood.

Our first stop is at the market, where the locals do their shopping. Here, we taste several cheeses, including pecorino and parmigiano, sauces and chutneys, balsamic vinegars and extra virgin olive oils, crostini and wine.

Our next stop is at a local wine shop. This enoteca is a hidden treasure! Here, we taste Tuscan and Italian wines and learn about their origins.

Our last stop is at one of Florence's oldest and best gelato shops, or artisinal chocolatier's shop. We'll taste a variety of high quality sweets.

• We request a deposit of €29 to book your ticket, and accept the balance in person on the tour date.
• All the listed tastings are included in the price. Tipping is optional but greatly appreciated!
• Groups are limited to 10 people to keep it cozy. (But if you have extra people we can host larger groups with advanced notice).

Logistical Info:

• This itinerary is on foot in the historic city center. The farthest distance walked is about 20 minutes. Most of our venues are small, which limits available seating.
• Plan to be on your feet for 2-3 hours. We can arrange for extra seating with advanced notice.
• Not available on Sundays, as the local fresh markets close on Sundays!
