Taste Florence Food Tour
You will have a memorable and delicious day when you join a Taste Florence Food Tour. No museums, no churches. This tour is all about food and wine. We visit local markets, shops and culinary artisans, all in places chosen for their historic & culinary importance. You’ll learn lots while having fun and savoring each bite.
Taste breads, cheeses, salumi, crostini, wine, sweets, balsamic vinegars, olive oils and seasonal specialties – all included in the ticket price. You won’t need lunch after, but you’ll have a food coma for sure.
Our food tours are a series of food tastings, and an optional wine tasting. We walk from point to point- tasting, learning, and savoring in each spot. Sometimes you’ll sit, sometimes you’ll stand, but you’ll rarely walk more than 15 minutes between stops. Florence is flat and pretty small, so this is a user-friendly walking food tour.
Tours are available Monday through Saturday mornings at 10am, and are conducted in English.
Wine Tasting With a Sommelier
Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, or new to wine tasting, you’ll learn lots in this small group wine tasting with a Sommelier.
The tasting takes place at 4 or 5pm in a popular enoteca, where a Sommelier will individualize each tasting for groups of 2 to 6 guests.
Try 8 wines, plus small cheese plates and more, paired perfectly by your Sommelier.This experience makes learning enjoyable and delicious!
Perfect for honeymooners, business travelers, singles, small groups of friends, and wedding groups.
