Taste Florence:
The First Food Tour in Town

Taste Florence is the Original food tour of Florence, Italy. This tasting experience has been written up in the Boston Globe, The Dallas Morning News, Fodor's, The Washington Post, and the Toronto Star, and featured on Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, Rick Steves, The CBC and MTV. Over 17 years of experience means we're ready to give you the tour you've been dreaming of.

Our food tours are held in the morning in order for guests to get the true essence of Italian living- visiting bakeries for fresh breads and pastries, the market for produce and local specialties, small wine shops for a taste of local wines, and ending on a sweet note with gelato.

No museums, no churches. This tour is all about food and wine. Taste the best of Florence as we visit local markets, shops and culinary artisans, all in places chosen for their historic & culinary importance. You’ll learn lots while having fun and savoring each bite.

Our food tours are a series of food tastings, with a wine tasting included. Taste cheese, breads, pastries, salumi, crostini, balsamic vinegars, olive oil and seasonal specialties – all included in the ticket price. You won’t need lunch after, but you’ll have a food coma for sure.

We walk from point to point- tasting, learning, and savoring in each spot. Sometimes you’ll sit, sometimes you’ll stand, but you’ll rarely walk more than 15 minutes between stops.

Florence is flat and pretty small, so this is a user-friendly walking food tour.

Group tours are available Monday through Saturday mornings around 10am, and are conducted in English.
