The First Food Tour in Town

If you like warm breads and pastries, skipping lines, and tasting local specialties while they are super fresh, our morning tour is for you.

Taste Florence brings you to the best local markets and shops for a variety of tastings, including fresh breads and pastries, savory street food, seasonal specialities, vibrant olive oils, authentic balsamic vinegars, regional cheeses, artisanal gelato, and more…

In addition to learning about the quality of these foods and wines, explanations of their history and preparation methods are given as you nibble on each delicious bite.

  • Tour lasts about 3.5 hours

  • Available in English Monday through Saturday mornings around 10am.

  • Small groups: from 3 to 11 guests

  • Options available for vegetarians

  • Florence is flat and pretty small, so this is a user - friendly walking food tour.

​​​No museums, no churches. This tour is all about food and wine. Taste the best of Florence as we visit local markets, shops and culinary artisans, all in places chosen for their historic & culinary importance. You’ll learn lots while having fun and savoring each bite.

We walk from point to point- tasting, learning, and savoring in each spot. Sometimes you’ll sit, sometimes you’ll stand, but you’ll rarely walk more than 15 minutes between stops.
